These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern all reservations and stays at The Adrift Hotel, an independently owned private hotel ("Hotel," "we," "us," or "our"). By making a reservation, submitting payment, or occupying a room at the Hotel, you ("Guest") acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be legally bound by these Terms and all posted house rules.
We ask all guests to treat the property, staff, and fellow guests with care and respect. For living-in staff, please respect their free time outside of business hours and provide space for them to relax. Failure to comply may result in additional charges, immediate termination of stay without refund, and/or refusal of future service.
Early check-in and late check-out are subject to availability and may incur additional charges.
Maximum occupancy: Two (2) guests per room. No pets allowed. No parties or events. No commercial photography or filming. No smoking indoors (see Smoking Policy below).
Registered Guests: The reservation must accurately reflect the number of guests staying. All guests must be registered in-person at check-in, present valid identification, provide a credit card for extra services or incidental charges, and provide a phone number. The primary guest is financially responsible for all charges and responsible for the actions and any damage caused by additional registered guests.
Local Residents: If a registered second guest is a local resident, the primary guest must accompany the local resident at all times while on hotel premises and when entering and exiting the property.
Guests not allowed: Temporary or unregistered guests are strictly prohibited, including in common areas. Local minors are not permitted to enter any area of the Hotel.
The building is strictly non-smoking. Smoking is permitted only on the rooftop. Smoking inside rooms or indoor areas will result in a $400 USD cleaning and remediation fee. Attempts to mask smoke odors using perfume or other strong fragrances may also result in charges.
Quiet hours: 11:00 PM – 8:00 AM. Guests must be properly dressed in common areas (no shirtless, pantless, or barefoot use of shared spaces). Intensive or exclusive use of indoor common areas is discouraged. Management reserves the right to address any disruptive, unsafe, or inappropriate behavior.
Guests agree to: turn off lights and appliances when not in the room (staff reserves the right to enter to turn them off if left running), keep windows closed during rain to prevent water damage, and keep the room locked when unattended.
Guests are financially responsible for damage to rooms, furnishings, fixtures, or hotel property, stains or damage to linens and towels, and excessive cleaning due to misuse or negligence. All damages may be charged in person or to the credit card on file. Before departure, guests must return all keys and settle any outstanding charges.
U.S. travelers may visit the country under the SPC category in accordance with guidelines issued by the U.S. Department of the Treasury's Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC). Staying at independently owned private accommodations such as ours supports local entrepreneurs and workers and is consistent with this category.
We may provide general information about privately owned businesses, community-based experiences, and Guided City Tours (with optional activity tracking for personal record-keeping). We are not a licensed travel agency and do not provide legal advice. Guests are responsible for ensuring their own compliance. For definitive legal guidance, consultation with a qualified attorney is recommended.
